Programme
Day 1: From Moustiers-Sainte-Marie to the Grand Canyon


Your trek begins after a transfer from Moustiers-Sainte-Marie, one of the most beautiful villages in France. From Mairestre, you'll take the spectacular Bastidon trail, a ledge above the cliffs, with stunning viewpoints overlooking the Verdon. A gentle warm-up before reaching La Maline, your accommodation in the heart of the Grand Canyon.
Possible alternative via the Saint-Maurin nature reserve for experienced hikers.
Day 2: The Blanc-Martel trail


From the Tusset bridge, you set off on a shaded and preserved path, home to endemic species. At the top, the Rancoumas belvedere offers an aerial view 400 m above the Verdon. Here, large griffon vultures soar majestically above the cliffs. Return to Rougon for another night in the heart of the gorges.

Heading for the legendary Verdon route! From La Maline, you descend to the bottom of the gorges to reach La Mescla beach. The vertiginous stairs of the Brèche Imbert, tunnels dug into the rock, and a final climb to Point Sublime mark this exceptional day. You finish in Rougon, a hilltop village with an unforgettable panorama.
Day 4: The ridges of the Grand Mourre


A long and splendid stage takes you across the Suech plateau and to the foot of the Mourre de Chanier (1,930 m). Pastoral landscapes, the solitude of the heights and immense horizons make up this day at altitude. You will then stay in a characterful house, within a farm estate populated by goats and donkeys.
Possible sporty variation for a panorama from the Southern Alps to the Mediterranean.
Day 5: The chamois of Montdenier
Head for the Pavillon, a summit offering an exceptional panorama: Ventoux, Lure, Sainte-Victoire, Mercantour, Écrins and Lake Sainte-Croix at your feet. Here, chamois are often present. Descend to Venascle, where you spend the night in a Provençal farmhouse with authentic charm, in the heart of a vast natural estate.
Possible sporty variation for a panorama from the Southern Alps to the Mediterranean.
Day 6: Plein Voir and the Ourbes ridge


On this final day, you'll cross the Plein Voir and l'Âne passes before heading along the spectacular Ourbes ridge, overlooking Lake Sainte-Croix. The descent brings you back to Moustiers-Sainte-Marie, where your adventure concludes in one of the most beautiful villages in France.
Day 7: Optional: an additional day


If you choose to spend an extra night, treat yourself to a break in the village of Moustiers-Sainte-Marie and enjoy a refreshing swim in Lake Sainte-Croix.
