Between the Alps and Provence, in the Jabron Valley at the foot of the Lure Mountains, we welcome you to a peaceful, green setting along the Jabron River. A rural gîte on a tree farm originally built as a renovated sheepfold.
Description
You will stay in a rural cottage adjoining our 55 m2 house, rustic, vaulted with exposed stone, adjoining our house. Accommodation for 2 to 4 people.
The kitchen area is equipped with:
- hob,
- refrigerator/freezer,
- oven, microwave, dishwasher,
- a mixer, toaster, kettle, waffle iron.
The bedroom area is composed of a double bed (140X190) and a sofa bed (140X190).
The rustic bathroom, with separate toilet, has a large sink and two wide shower trays; as well as the washing machine.
To fully enjoy the mild summer nights, you will also have garden furniture and a barbecue.
The swimming pool (with alarm) is shared with the owners.
Non-smoking accommodation.
Pets are allowed, but the garden is not fenced.
Nearby, you can enjoy beautiful hikes throughout the Jabron Valley!
An equestrian center is not far either!! You will discover Sisteron, gateway to Haute-Provence with its citadel and lake!
To discover in the surrounding area: the priories of Ganagobie and Mane; the prehistory museum of Quinson; the lakes of Serre-Ponçon and Ste-Croix; the via ferrata at La Motte du Caire; the observatory of St-Michel, the Verdon gorges, Mont Ventoux, the Valensole plateau...
Also take the opportunity to visit the many Vauban monuments in the region.
