Gaining altitude in the greatest comfort is possible at the Refuge de Larche, a place of rest and passage where time stands still at an altitude of 1680 m in the heart of the village of Larche.
Description
This magnificent location will allow you to reach the summits, close to Italy and in the heart of the Mercantour Park, on the Grande Traversée des Alpes (GTA).
Composed of rooms and dormitories with a capacity of 51 people, it is one of the first GTA refuges to have been built to ensure great comfort for hikers in the Alps.
Half board is offered with accommodation and special meals can be arranged upon reservation.
Camille and Lorène, along with their partners, will give you a warm welcome and will be able to give you advice on hikes to do from the refuge.
