Located in the heart of the city, it is more than a sanctuary: it is the soul of the city.

Description

It is one of the oldest places in Manosque (tombs from the 1st-3rd centuries, first Notre Dame church (5th century) rebuilt in the 10th century under the name Notre Dame Romigier.
At the chevet, in Romanesque style from the 10th/12th centuries, you will discover a paleochristian sarcophagus called "the Anastasis" (resurrection) as well as one of the oldest black virgins in France (10th century).
