Saint-Pons is one of the first villages in the Ubaye Serre-Ponçon Valley. Along with Faucon, it was the origin of the founding of Barcelonnette.
Steeped in history, its well-preserved architecture and cultural heritage make it a unique place.

Description

At the gates of Barcelonnette, Saint-Pons charms with its mountain setting, its Romanesque heritage, and its panoramic views overlooking the peaks of Ubaye. Sensitive to the quality of its environment, the village is committed to preserving the night sky by joining the "Villes et Villages étoilés" label. Here, far from artificial lights, the sky is revealed in all its splendor, offering an ideal setting for stargazing. An ideal destination for combining nature walks, heritage discovery, and escape under the stars, in a peaceful and preserved atmosphere.
