The town hall of Sainte Croix du Verdon, in partnership with the Culture, Leisure and Heritage association, has created a new cultural and heritage space: The House of Water and the Valley

Description

This museum space retraces life in the Verdon Valley before the lake was flooded and the village was rebuilt.
2 fully renovated rooms offer the following themes:
History of the valley in the old classroom.
- chronological fresco
- interactive terminal
- photography exhibition
- video projection, 3 films retrace the history of the village and the valley:
- Life in the valley before the lake (10 minutes)
- Filling of the lake 1973-1975 (10 minutes)
- reconstruction of the village (10 minutes)
Water theme under the covered courtyard (redeveloped museum space)
- A digital screen allowing a virtual tour of the dam.
