The Church of Sainte-Sévère is located in the upper part of the village, on a gently sloping site, bordered to the north by the cemetery. It has an elongated plan with two naves and a flat chevet facing west.

Description

The main nave is covered with a groin vault and the secondary nave with a semi-circular vault. The walls of the church are made of mortared rubble. The church is covered with a long-span shingled roof; the sacristy and the adjoining chapel are covered with a lean-to roof, also in shingles. The main facade, to the east, has three openings: the door, in the center of the facade, an arched bay at mid-height lighting the secondary nave and a bay in the upper part of the facade, slightly off-center to the left, lighting the main nave. Against the chevet, stands a square-section bell tower, covered with a hipped roof, also in shingles. The south facade has three arched bays and the north facade has a single bay, also arched. At the end of the nave is a timber-framed gallery accessed by a winding staircase. The entire church is covered with an ochre-yellow coating and the pilasters of the main nave with an ochre-pink coating, the vaults are covered with a white coating. The choir is slightly raised in relation to the nave: it is accessible by two steps. The floor of the main nave is in white and black cement tiles, that of the secondary nave, in wood. The sacristy forms an appendage to the south of the church by extending a chapel, against the main nave. The sacristy is lit by two rectangular bays. The cemetery is enclosed by rubble walls. It opens through a door onto the square to the right of the church and through a gate behind the sacristy.
