The ecomuseum's mission is to inform and raise awareness among visitors about the particularities of the nature of the Gorges du Verdon region, in order to better understand and preserve it.
Description
Young and old alike can follow the Verdon: from the peaks to the Grand Canyon, passing through the mountain pastures and plateaus.
A quiz for children is available free of charge at reception to make the visit even more fun.
The space offers you, during your visit, the discovery of man in close relationship with nature:
- The extraordinary diversity of fauna and flora (including the emblematic golden eagles, vultures, chamois and endemic plants such as the golden eagle (Asplenium jahandiezii) and the sandwort
- The hydro-geological formation of the Grandes Gorges and the history of Palud-sur-Verdon
- The people who have adapted to it from prehistory to the present day (gathering, agriculture, crafts and tourism)
This site participates in the Departmental Museum Passport Network 04.
