The farm is located between La Palud-sur-Verdon and Rougon in the Baou river valley. Around a hundred animals including poultry, goats, wallabies, deer, wild boars, camels, ponies and llamas have been intended for zoo education among young people for 50 years.
Description
Every afternoon, the living space of the Bergerie de Faucon du Père Guy Gilbert invites you to visit its farm. A young person will guide you and show you the animals on the site (you will need to keep your dog in your car).
Visits are free, but we have a shop where you can buy products from our farm: honey, apple juice, eggs and where you will also find all of Father Guy Gilbert's books (dedications possible), postcards as well as other products. We offer a refreshment bar on site, the profits from these sales are used to support the work of Father Guy as well as projects for and with young people.
When the house is lit up in the evening, Guy is present and celebrates a mass around 18 p.m. at the chalet near the Bergerie de Faucon.
Father Guy is in principle present at the Bergerie de Faucon every afternoon between July 7 and August 15 to interact with visitors.
Every year on August 1st, "The Falcon Festival" is organized with a presentation of the animals, followed by a show performed by the young people of the association.
