Statue "The Bucolic"

It was by letter dated January 06, 1953 that the Secretary of State for National Education informed the Mayor of Manosque that the Bucolic statue was ready. On the letter dated February 09, 1953 from the Gougeon Establishments, specialized in the transport of art objects, specifying that this statue arrives in Manosque on February 12, Mayor Aubert Millot, mentions that it must be transported to Place de la Villette. Subsequently this art object was transferred to the roundabout of Avenue Jean Giono and Avenue Frédéric Mistral in the 1990s.
