A jewel of mastery and the know-how of our elders, this old sawmill, restored in 2006, will allow you to relive the gestures of the 50s during a demonstration of board cutting.
Description
The cut timber made from mountain woods (larch, fir, spruce) was mainly intended for local needs.
Water diverted from the nearby torrent drives the cup wheel which in turn drives the belts, which in turn drive the swing saw.
