Rugged relief of hills, rocks and olive trees, the landscape is typical of the Provençal region with its winding streets climbing up to the castle where the panorama will allow you to admire Mont Ventoux, the pre-Alps or the OIsan.

Description

The Luberon Regional Natural Park, which surrounds Volx, offers a wide range of hiking trails. This forested area, reaching an altitude of 800 meters, offers exceptional views.
The town of Volx is home to the Olive Tree Eco-Museum, created by Olivier Baussan, founder of the L'Occitane and Oliviers & Co brands. This establishment was set up in the former lime kilns located on the old Forcalquier road. The collections highlight olive tree cultivation throughout the Mediterranean basin.
The 12th and 13th century fortified castle, which dominates the Durance valley, is in ruins (a few arches of the aqueduct which supplied it still remain)
Saint-Clément Castle was built in the 17th century, but underwent significant alterations in the 19th century.
The old lime kilns were restored in 1980
The bridge over the Largue was built in 1766.
The parish church of Sainte-Victoire was built in 1648.
