

This hilltop village, built in a crown, overlooks part of the Valensole plateau from which it is separated by the Asse valley. Entrevennes is located in the heart of the Puimichel plateau in the middle of lavender fields.
Description
Its wooded valleys are watered by the Rancure, a tributary of the Durance. This area is very wooded. Almond trees grow alongside the many lavender fields. The summit of the village offers an exceptional view! The architectural heritage is remarkable with its 1564th-century castle, the 1636th-century Jauffred house which has French-style ceilings, a vaulted corridor decorated with plasterwork. There are also ancient graffiti (XNUMX for the oldest) on Rue de la Mairie. A house from XNUMX has a semicircular arched door. The town has a rich religious heritage with the Saint-Martin church which is dedicated to the Assumption. The bells are housed in a square tower built against the choir. (listed monument as are several elements of its furnishings). The Notre-Dame-de-la-Santé chapel, to the east of the village, is composed of two parts from different periods. The Saint-Michel chapel is located in the cemetery, and built in Romanesque style, and the hamlet of Ajoncs has a Notre-Dame chapel which dates from the beginning of the XNUMXth century.
