Located 6km from Forcalquier, on a pass linking the Forcalquier basin and the Saint-Etienne-Les-Orgues plain, the village of Fontienne is close to the well-known site of Mourres.

Monuments to discover in the village of Fontienne:
Saint-Pierre Church of Romanesque origin. Walk along the foundations of the castle with its facings, made of bumpy stones.
At the foot of the village, wash house and Diana fountain, carved into the rock under the road (D116). Fresh water. GR6 crossing.

Saltwater Valley Walk: Marked walk starting from the village which leads to the entrance of the interpretation trail 800m away on the Sigonce road (D116). 2 hours. 1,5 km. Easy.
