The village fountain

This is a very common type of fountain in rural areas, set below the surrounding land and leaning against a street retaining wall. It is a significant fountain in terms of its length, this coming from the fact that it was built in two distinct phases. The water flows through four cannons, two of which are inserted in medallions. The exterior floor was initially made of cobblestones and was replaced by terracotta slabs. This fountain comes from the spring in the Blanches district located one kilometer away.
