This museum dedicated to the natural riches of the Valley also reveals the uses and know-how that man has developed by collecting various elements from his environment.

Description

The mountains, with their distinctive landscapes, reveal a rich and diverse fauna and flora and offer a wide range of sporting and leisure activities. Humans have adapted to their environment and developed skills in livestock farming, crafts, architecture, hunting, gathering, etc.

Different educational spaces invite questions, such as the nocturnal fauna that is revealed along a mysterious gallery and the activities that take place on an original model.

On the ground floor, a temporary exhibition dedicated to beekeeping completes this discovery.

This museum is dedicated to René Léautaud, owner of the former business in which it is located.

You can also explore the museum in a fun way with a treasure hunt!

The Museum Café
Located in front of the museum, on the charming little village square, the Café du Musée welcomes you for a moment of relaxation. Before or after your visit to the museum or during cultural events, come and enjoy our local delicacies accompanied by coffee, tea, or a unique syrup, depending on your mood!
