
Built on the foundations of the first church in the Village, St André dating from the 13th century, the church of St Barthélémy was finally founded at the beginning of the 16th century by the inhabitants.
Description
The parishioners choose St Barthélémy as their patron in order to have additional help after the episode of the plague and wars.
From 490 inhabitants in 1316, the community had only 160 in 1471, a loss of 68%. It would never regain this initial figure, barely reaching 340 in 1765. Then it would decline again with 260 inhabitants in 1851, and 79 in 2000.
