According to the survey of places of worship in 1899, the Hauts Savornin chapel ''is used for baptisms, reliefs and the communion of children''.
Description
According to Father Allibert it was raised by the inhabitants in 1875 so that the sky would protect them from hail. It is dedicated to St Peter of Verona, martyr, Dominican monk and formidable inquisitor assassinated near Milan in 1252. This patronage was chosen because of Pierre Silve, a local resident who had contributed his own money to the decoration of the chapel . Singular patronage which was perhaps chosen because of the presence of a Dominican convent in Seyne since the XNUMXth century.
