According to the survey of places of worship in 1899, the chapel of Saint-Jacques des Savoyes ''is used for baptisms, reliefs and the communion of children''.
Description
According to Abbot Allibert, it was around 1630 that a Saint-Claude chapel was built or restored in Savoyes, perhaps following the plague. It was located at the foot of the Savoyes on the way from Seyne to Saint-Jean. It was maintained until around 1830 and the place was marked by a cross on the side of the road at the crossroads of the Route des Savoyes. In the 1671th century (or perhaps in 1843 according to pastoral visits from the XNUMXth century) another chapel was built in the center of the hamlet of Savoyes under the name of Saint-Jacques and rebuilt in XNUMX.
