The abbey, founded in the 1456th century, had a long conflict with the bishops of Sisteron over the privilege of exemption, a conflict which ended with the abbey being annexed to the bishopric in XNUMX.

Description

The parish church of Saint-Martin is the former church of an Augustinian abbey. It retains some cloister arcades, dating from the end of the 13th century. The nave remains Romanesque (perhaps from the 14th century), and the ox of Saint Luke is reused in the façade. The choir is from the 15th century. The capitals of the façade represent a turning point in the evolution of decorative forms, at the beginning of the 16th century, when the crockets of the previous period became foliage. The church and the cloister arcades are listed in the inventory of historical monuments.
