In the heart of the Alpes de Haute Provence, between the powerful waters of Lake Serre-Ponçon and the high-altitude lakes of Dormillouse, share a week of sport fishing, combining action and thrills. A father and son stay to experience the rhythm of bites, hunt for predators, and explore exceptional aquatic territories. Here, fishing is sporty, mobile, and passionate.
Serre-Ponçon, one of Europe's largest reservoirs, fed by the Durance and Ubaye rivers, unfolds its 2 hectares of shimmering waters. A refuge for pike and trout, it is also home to perch, carp, roach, and bleak. A rich playground where every catch becomes a fishing challenge.

Programme
Day 1: Arrival and reconnaissance of the premises
Settling into the Jourdan Lodge in Montclar. Unpacking the rods and preparing the equipment. First reconnaissance on the lake shore and warming up with a few casts.
Day 2: Pike and perch casting – Action on Serre-Ponçon
At dawn, launch. Lures and modern techniques in hand, you set out to hunt pike by boat or float tube. Itinerant fishing between wild coves and deep seabeds. Thrills guaranteed on the first attacks.
Day 3: Mountain Lakes – Light Fishing and Speed
Take a chairlift to the Dormillouse Lakes. Ultra-light, spoons, and soft lures are used to thwart the lively brown trout and brook trout at Lac Noir. Active fishing along the clear waters in a magnificent setting.
Day 4: Fine Techniques and Precision – Mastering the Drop Shot
Return on Serre-Ponçon. By boat or from the banks, you can experiment with finesse techniques like drop shots to attract perch and zander. Every bite is a thrill, every fight a victory.
Day 5: Expert Guidance – Secrets and Big Fish
An intense day with Bastien, Bernard, or Sébastien, experienced guides. Heading for the Blanche or Ubaye Rivers. Their secret spots and expert advice will open the door to big pike, record-breaking perch, or trophy trout. The goal: to get the reel drag pumping!
Day 6: Total exploration – Boat or float tube
Free navigation on Serre-Ponçon. Changing positions, exploring breaks and cluttered areas. Lure animation, precise casting: it's you against the predators.
Day 7: Final Challenges – Finishing in Style
In the morning, the final session as a duo. Last rushes, last adrenaline rush. A memorable take to conclude this father-son adventure.
Your basecamp
Between the Vallée de la Blanche and Lake Serre-Ponçon, just opposite the summer-winter resort of Montclar, this beautiful independent house labeled "Qualified Fishing Accommodation" offers a magnificent view of the Dormillouse Massif (2 m) and the Blanche Range (500 m).
Private terrace, quiet, shops and swimming pool 500 m away. Seyne (10 km) for services and Fort Vauban. Beaches and coves of Serre-Ponçon nearby. A perfect spot to combine comfort and passion.
