The Luberon Regional Natural Park is one of the 9 regional natural parks of Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, straddling the departments of Vaucluse and Alpes de Haute-Provence.
Description
It is at the same time a territory, a project and an institution.
The Joint Management Union of the Luberon Regional Natural Park (whose offices are located in Apt) is the body responsible for implementing the charter. It brings together the communities that have signed the charter (Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur Region, Alpes de Haute-Provence and Vaucluse departments, and member municipalities).
Its vocation is to reconcile human activities with the protection and preservation of natural and cultural heritage, through an innovative policy of economic, social, cultural and landscape planning and development, respectful of the environment.
