It was in the village of Mane, in the heart of the Alpes de Haute-Provence, that the adventure began, thanks to men united by a common passion: the olive tree. Since the creation of Oliviers & Co. in 1996, almost fifteen years already, by going into the field, meeting producers, in Provence and throughout the Mediterranean Basin, a new image of the olive tree has been forged, nourished by tradition, but resolutely anchored in the contemporary world. Over the course of these encounters, at the same time as friendships were formed, an incredible diversity of terroirs and tastes was revealed, and the idea took hold, that like the vine and the wine, the olive tree deserved its great vintages. A completely innovative concept was born, and with it, the conviction that it was necessary to create places to share this unsuspected source of flavors and aromas hidden in the modest fruit of the olive tree.
