Distance 10km

Elevation 534m

Duration 6h

Difficulty Very difficult

Although it does not offer direct views of the river, this trail is very beautiful and offers a wide variety of landscapes.

Description

From the Maireste belvedere, take the yellow marked path towards La Maline/Sentier du Bastidon which goes to the left of the Maireste belvedere (after the bins).
You will pass several ravines (the delicate passages are secure),
You will then return to the Gorges via the path, to cross the Ferné ravine. Continue sideways.
Near the end, you will arrive at a small pass just above the Mainmorte ravine, seeing the Route des Crêtes (D23) opposite. The time to turn around is approaching; you can continue to the road if you wish.
At the end of the walk or at the beginning, we invite you to go and see the Maireste belvedere, on the way there and back: it is a beautiful viewpoint over the Gorges.

It is currently possible to do the Bastidon trail only in return, from the D23 or Maireste because there were landslides at the Brusc pass.
