This route allows you to reach Palud-sur-Verdon and Chalet de la Maline without using the Blanc-Martel shuttle or taxis. Please note: a good part (around 90%) is on paved roads and half of the route is in full sun.
Description
From the village of La Palud-sur-Verdon, head towards Moustiers-Sainte-Marie. At the exit of the village on the left, just before the Bourbon campsite, a small tarmac road goes off to the left. You are on the GR4 which joins the chalet de la Maline. The road will turn into a track, follow the red and white markings.
Follow this small road for 500m and then join the departmental road, then turn right. Walk on the road for more than 300 meters and take the first track on the left.
Follow the marked path for about a kilometer, then you will rejoin the departmental road. Turn right here too and follow the road to the Chalet de la Maline (about 6 km).
