On the outskirts of the city centre, the Ferréols lakes offer many activities.
Description
Just a stone's throw from the town centre of Digne-les-Bains, the Ferréols lake is a refreshing oasis that is very popular in summer.
This 12-hectare artificial lake, fed by the Ferréols torrent, invites you to enjoy supervised swimming, fishing, walking, or simply relaxing on its landscaped banks. A picnic area, snack bar, and ample free parking make it easy to welcome visitors.
The site is also popular for birdwatching, with herons, swans, and ducks in the background. Easily accessible, the lake offers a welcome natural break between water, sun, and mountains.
Details concerning animals : The introduction of animals is prohibited on the body of water, except on the dike path along the edge of Bléone (cycle path where said domestic animals must be kept on a lead by their owner: the use of the extendable lead with automatic retractor is prohibited).

Opening
From 07/09/2025 to 31/12/2026 every day.
Access to the swimming pool beaches is open from 9 a.m. to 21 p.m., swimming is supervised from 11 a.m. to 20 p.m.
The activity hours are from 10:00 to 19:00.
The ponds are emptied of their water from autumn until spring.
