The Thermal Baths of Gréoux-les-Bains

Scents of pine and lavender—there's no doubt about it, you're in Provence! Dry air, the mistral wind, fountains, aromas, and sunshine are all there. At the gateway to the Verdon Regional Natural Park, Gréoux enjoys a microclimate that makes life pleasant and the atmosphere sunnier.

With its sulfated, calcium, sodium, and magnesium thermal waters, rich in trace elements, the Gryselian thermal establishment is an expert in the treatment of rheumatic and respiratory ailments. This ancient water originates at a depth of 1200 meters and emerges at 42°. Thermalism in Gréoux dates back to Antiquity; from the 1st century, the Romans settled near the hot spring and the place quickly became a place dedicated to Health. After a long period of neglect, the Baths were revived at the end of the XNUMXth century, and Pauline Borghese, a relative of the great Napoleon, stayed there several times.

Since 1962, the Chaîne Thermale du Soleil has taken over these premises and rebuilt the thermal baths in their original location. The thermal “complex” is notably composed of two 2 and 3 star hotel-restaurants, four residences and a thermal park a stone's throw from the banks of the Verdon.
