At the foot of the Cimet (3,020 m) and the Pelat (3,050 m), the loop leads to the land of marmots and chamois in the heart of the Mercantour National Park.

Description

From Bayasse, the route goes up the Saume valley to the Esbéliousses pass (2,498 m). It then switches to the Grande Cayolle valley and returns to Bayasse via the GR®56 along the Bachelard torrent.
