Description
From La Fresquière, the route climbs into the shady slopes of Méolans, crosses the Séolane pass (2,273 m) then descends into the mountain pastures to the Laverq Abbey.
Details concerning animals : This stage of the GR®56 is accessible with a dog, provided it is kept on a leash throughout the entire route. However, stages 2 to 5 take you to the heart of the Mercantour National Park, where dogs are strictly prohibited, even on a leash or carried on your person.
