In a wild setting punctuated by numerous bories, this route will offer you wide views of the Pre-Alps and the Forcalquier region. It will take you through the astonishing sensitive natural area of Mourres.
Description
From the tourist office, take Avenue Marcel André then Avenue Saint-Marc to the pointed hut. Turn right towards Les Mourres via the GR. Pass near the pointed huts.
The path passes near the catchment area of the Mère des Fontaines spring and the pipeline (aqueduct) built in the 16th century which supplied Forcalquier with water.
