Starting from the Tourist Office, this challenging route is for sporty types looking for a challenge. Heading towards Sisteron, you'll cycle under the watchful gaze of its impressive citadel and the Rocher de la Baume, overlooking the emerald-hued Durance river.

Description

This journey through the heart of Haute-Provence perfectly combines physical exertion with the authenticity of a territory steeped in history, ideal to explore from spring onwards to enjoy the Provençal light.
The adventure then takes a turn into a wild landscape near Vilhosc, where forest tracks and deserted roads wind their way to the Pont de la Reine Jeanne (Queen Jeanne Bridge). In this unspoiled valley, where the Vanson River flows, a contemplative break or a swim is a must before starting the return journey. The finale is magnificent: you'll cross the village of Volonne and then the Himalayan footbridge of Haute-Provence. This technical and contemplative route is the ultimate experience for discovering the hidden treasures of the Alpes de Haute-Provence.
