From the Riou gate, climb to the Vénascle plateau to discover the heights of Moustiers. From the village center, take the rue de la Clappe and pass the fortified gate of Riou. You will head towards the hamlet of Vincel.

From the village centre, take Rue de la Clappe and pass through the fortified gate of Riou. You will head towards the hamlet of Vincel. The climb through the undergrowth will take you to the plateau, always follow the direction of Vincel and the yellow markings that indicate it until you meet a road at the Montdenier campsite. Head towards the hamlet of Vénascle, staying on the tarmac road for just under a kilometre. You will leave the road to follow the sign for the place called Pierrefeu. The path will take you back down to the village via Chemin de Courchon, the last section of the route. The dozen bends that make up this hairpin descent offer privileged views of Lake Sainte-Croix and the village of Moustiers!
