It is at the foot of the Village of Banon, backed by the Contadour plateau, in the heart of this Haute-Provence admirably described by the writer Jean Giono, that the Confiserie Chocolaterie Leblanc is located, installed in an eco-constructed wooden building.
Description
In this modern and sustainable factory, artisans passionately and delicately perpetuate the sweet traditions of Provence.
Each confectionery, soft or crunchy, celebrates a know-how combining patience and high standards.
In order to explain the artisanal know-how and to glimpse all the stages necessary for the production of chocolates, fruit paste, spreads or even dried fruits coated in chocolate, a glass airlock allows a free view of the confectioners working on the copper turbines or chocolate melters, the drying ovens, the grinders and the coating lines.
So many sweet treats to taste in the shop. (tasting offered)
Upstairs, discover an exhibition by photographer François-Xavier Emery on the remarkable trees of Haute-Provence, created with the association Act for Planet.
