Sporty hike to the summit of Teillon, also called the mountain of the Four Terms, in reference to the “terms” which designate the markers delimiting the 4 neighboring communes.
Description
Departure from the village of La Garde. Follow the GR uphill opposite the Auberge du Teillon for 1.3 km. At the intersection, leave the GR and take the yellow-marked path on the right through the undergrowth for 800 m. Cross to the other bank and reach the intersection with the path to the St Martin chapel.
Continue climbing along the Teillon path. After crossing the stream, climb straight up the slope to the flat area. Then turn left to reach the ridge and the summit at an altitude of 1,893 m. Return via the same route.
