Description

It is like a jewel in a setting, Lake Allos can only be explored on foot.

Access to Lake Allos ON FOOT (indicative walking time)

Departure from the village of Allos, via the GR56B:
7 hours round trip, red and white markings; this starting point, although further away, makes the lake accessible without taking a car from the village.

Departure from the Cluite car park (regulated access):
5h round trip

Departure from the Laus car park (regulated and limited access):
1h30 round trip

Once you arrive, it is also possible to walk around the lake (approximately 1 hour).

If you are planning to reach Lake Allos from one of the two car parks, we recommend that you consult the tourist office before your departure, as their spaces are limited.

During the high season, access to the Laus car park (or Lac d'Allos car park), in the uphill direction, is regulated and subject to a charge from 7 a.m. to 17 p.m.
The access fee is €12 per car and €6 for motorized two-wheelers (free access for bicycles), subject to availability.
This rate is a fixed amount regardless of the duration of parking.

Motorhomes
A 2m height gauge is installed in the Chaup car park, so access is not possible beyond this height for vehicles exceeding this height.

Loan of a JOELETTE
For people with physical disabilities, a joëlette is available upon reservation, do not hesitate to take advantage of it (more information and free reservation at the tourist office).
