A family walk that will delight those who love Provençal landscapes: lavender fields, almond trees and in the distance the Lure mountain and the Prealps.
Description
Coussières Parking Post (535 m) - Take the path towards the silo following the GR® 69 (marked). Follow the Vallon de Notre-Dame until you pass under the bridge, turn right to go up the road which you take to the first crossroads.
Post Chemin de St Claude (550 m) - Turn right towards Vallon de Lèves.
Vallon de Lèves Post (550 m) - Take the path on the left, then after about fifty meters the one on the right (Chemin du Canet). Follow it to the top of the plateau. 100 meters after the crossroads overlooking the Barbegiers farm, go down to the right into the woods, go around the Grand Chêne farm and continue until you reach a track that goes off to the left.
Poteau Vallon de Notre-Dame (579 m) - Continue on the path on the right and reach the "Monaco" crossroads.
Monaco Post (585 m) - Follow the valley for 400 m (marked), then follow the Notre-Dame path. Continue to point 3. Return to the car park by the route taken on the outward journey.
