Short circuit of around 1 hour starting from Castellane, allowing you to admire the lakes of Castillon and Chaudanne as well as their dams.
Description
From Castellane, take the D955 towards Saint-André-les-Alpes.
Walk along Lake Castillon, passing over its impressive dam, on which the largest sundial in the world is located.
About 1km after the dam, turn right towards Demandolx. Gain some altitude by following the hairpin bends along the road.
Just before the village of Demandolx, turn right again following the direction "La Silve - Castellane".
The descent is via a small narrow road (not recommended for camper vans) on Lake Chaudanne.
Walk along Lake Chaudanne and then reach the intersection with Route Napoléon. Turn right to reach Castellane via the D4085.
