Take the "Le Brec Bouchier" trail marked in red and white (GR 56) which climbs into the forest overlooking the Chadoulin torrent. After about three-quarters of an hour's walk, turn left towards Le Brec (PR trail marked in yellow). Join the track which leads to the hamlet and then onto the plateau overlooking it. The atmosphere is that of an adret ideal for food crops and plants such as wild thyme or centaury. The route then crosses a larch forest where willowherbs and wood geraniums grow in abundance. After a short descent, take the Vacheresse trail to the left: below, stands the "Ferme des bois" which was continuously inhabited until 1921. Follow the track to the right which leads to the hamlet of Bouchier. At the exit of the hamlet, continue on the track for 300 m and take the Haute Colette trail marked in yellow (PR). The panorama over the Verdon Valley is magnificent. To return to Allos, take the GR path marked in red and white.
