Nestled at the foot of the natural site of the Annot sandstone and its hundred-year-old chestnut trees, the village has preserved a particularly rich medieval heart. A starting point for outdoor activities, it is a place of relaxation and discovery of nature.

Description

While developing its tourist appeal, Annot has managed to preserve the quality of its architectural heritage: watchtower, shops, houses with engraved lintels from the 15th and 16th centuries, town hall built under Louis XIV. For more than twenty years, it has been recognized as a "Village and City of Character." Discover its history thanks to the street signs, affixed all along the alleys.

The welcome and quality of life are preserved, and the festive and cultural events held throughout the year are an opportunity to appreciate the village's conviviality. The steam-powered Train des Pignes will be an original way to discover Annot before returning for sure.
