Description
From the clear, crystalline waters of the Haute-Ubaye, where the river seems still young and peaceful, it follows its course between cliffs and narrow gorges, the horizon widens at the level of Jausiers.
On board the boat, eyes light up, they contemplate, they admire: the Bonette on the left, Barcelonnette which extends to the Pra Loup station.
This quieter section offers a relaxing alternative to the more sporty sections of the lower valley.
The Ubaye is a first-category river, meaning it is primarily populated by salmonid fish. This classification primarily serves to demonstrate the purity of the water and the absence of pollution.
