This easy walk reveals the elements of the Haute Provence countryside: fields, orchards and characterful villages including, as the highlight, the Rocher d'Ongles.
Description
From Rocher d'Ongles, a hamlet perched on its stone promontory, the trail offers a glimpse into the region's rural atmosphere. Crossing six bucolic hamlets around the village of Ongles, it offers a chance to discover fields and small woods along quiet, rolling paths.
Head back down to the intersection and join the D951. Discover the L'Occitane distillery. Continue along the road and turn left towards the village of Ongles. Connect with the Sentier de Seigne. Cross the village towards Bouiron then Combe Crue, you take the GRP which descends towards the plain. Return via Les Taillas, Les Ganas and Curel. Beautiful view of the Rocher d'Ongles.
