Description
Notre-Dame-de-Lure nestles in the hollow of the Morteiron valley. In the shade of century-old lime and walnut trees, this secluded and mysterious place exudes a sense of serenity. Founded during the second half of the 12th century, the abbey was a key stopover for peddlers and druggists. They traveled the mountains to pick aromatic and medicinal plants and then went on to sell them in towns near and far.
