Marked by 20 signs, this educational walk allows you to learn about and recognize the plants of Provence used for their therapeutic and aromatic properties.

Description

On the edge of Saint-Etienne-les-Orgues, the circuit, a quiet loop in open country, offers various views of this picturesque village and its crops, of the Lure mountain whose entrance it marks, and, in good weather, of the southern Alps in the background.

A scrubland area, the Graves site is a true Mediterranean garden. This landscape of rock gardens is home to rich vegetation typical of the high Provençal hills. The blooms follow one another from spring to winter, offering the attentive walker a colorful and fragrant panorama that changes with the seasons. Twenty species of plants and trees, known for their past and present culinary and therapeutic uses, have been highlighted along a 2-kilometer loop.
