Difficulty Very difficult
A lovely hike starting from the fortified village, going into the forest where you can hear the roar of the deer in the autumn.
Description
Cross the Porte de France and follow the Var River to the Brec campsite. Do not cross the campsite but take the road towards Saraillon. After several meters, the paved road gives way to a track that serves the hamlet of Saint-Pierre du Brec.
Pass the chapel and then continue towards the Bas-Sumaure forest house. After the cabin, the hike continues towards the hamlet of Haut Agnerc. After crossing the hamlet, the hike takes the paved road which joins the D4202 at the Relais Saint Jean.
At this point, cross the black bridge and take the Brec road to the Brec campsite. After crossing the campsite, return via the same route along the Var.
