Description

Itinerary:
Coming from the parking lot, turn left just before the town hall and post office. At the church, go uphill to the left, crossing a cobbled path at the beginning. Turn right at a hairpin bend.
Come out onto the road to the hamlet of Château. Take it and go up on the left. Just before the bend in the road, continue along the path leading off to the right. Pass under the enclosure of the old cemetery and its chapel. Then continue straight on until you reach the bend in the road.
Don't take the road, but continue climbing straight ahead along the path. Take it on the right across. After a bend, the path continues its transverse ascent, crossing the road once again. Pass upstream of a first ruin, at the second, climb to the right. You will end up at the final bend in the road, just below the hamlet of Château. Continue straight ahead, leaving the hamlet on your right and continuing left along the crossing path. Then leave the latter to descend to the left along the path. After a series of short bends, the path continues to descend across.
Come out onto the access track to the hamlet of Vaux after going around the characteristic hillock topped with an electricity pole on the right. Take the track on the left along the Descoure. Cross this torrent further on using the bridge.
Continue along the right bank of the Descoure and further on, come out onto a bend in a secondary road. Go down it on the left and join the RD 900a. Then turn left to reach the village of Barles.
