Route leading to the St Brice Chapel located immediately west of the village. The hill offers a wide view of the Durance Valley.
Description
Modest in size, the chapel contains an interesting painted decoration in perfect condition, occupying the wall facing the entrance to the building. The statue placed above the altar is dedicated to Our Lady of La Salette, in reference to a high place in Isère known for its stories of apparitions.
In the 4th and 5th centuries, Saint Brice was a disciple of Saint Martin, and on the latter's death succeeded him as Bishop of Tours.
