A peaceful path between woods, farms and valleys. A detour via the Saint-Domnin chapel is essential at the start of the circuit.
This mainly forestry route will allow you to discover part of the many hamlets in the commune of Verdaches.

Description

Hiking parking lot (1,140 m) - Return to Verdaches. In front of the church, turn right, pass in front of the town hall then go up an alley on the left. Join a road, follow it uphill on the right. At the agricultural shed, follow the path to the left then left again at the fork. The path crosses a pass then descends to a crossroads.
Flagustelle (1,170 m) - Continue straight ahead and go left a little further. The track ends in a meadow, go along it on the left and find a track. Follow it for 20 m then turn left again onto a path along the stream. Do not enter the meadow but go along it then the stream and climb a trail on the right. It quickly turns into a path that climbs into the forest and opens onto a pass. Turn right and continue climbing into the woods. Reach a meadow then the hamlet of La Sambue.
La Sambue (1,356 m) - Continue straight ahead to the fountain (non-drinking water). The path descends through pastures (close the fences securely) and passes close to a spring. Go down to the right into the valley and then into the forest. Join a stream and follow it downhill via a series of paths and tracks to the tarmac road. Continue straight ahead then turn left and enter the hamlet of "La Route".
At the fountain, go down to the right and then continue straight ahead at the crossroads, near a second fountain. Follow the paved road to the starting car park.
