Le Sauze in winter: a ski resort for everyone
The 65km ski area, situated between 1400 and 2400m altitude, offers 34 slopes for all levels. From the gentle, wide boulevards to the mogul runs, the choice is yours.
Canyon lovers, big air enthusiasts, boxers, rail enthusiasts… you’ll be delighted with a snowpark, boardercross and a Kid Park.
A giant airbag lets you experience new sensations! Launch yourself from a snow ramp to perform your best jumps and tricks, and this inflatable mattress will gently catch you!
To ski safely in powder, some marked runs are left ungroomed but secured. Keep an eye on snowfall!
Access and location
Le Sauze / Enchastrayes
In the heart of the Alpes de Haute Provence, Le Sauze, located in the commune of Enchastrayes, is easily accessible from the main cities of the South of France.
From Marseille or Aix-en-Provence, it takes around 2.5 hours to drive via the A51 motorway and the departmental roads leading to the Ubaye Valley.
The SNCF train stations of Gap and Digne-les-Bains, as well as regional bus lines, also provide access.
In winter, regular shuttle buses connect the resorts and villages of the Ubaye Valley, offering a convenient connection for all visitors.
A variety of winter activities
For a truly unique experience, try the giant zipline, accessible even in winter! Soar above the slopes and admire the snowy panoramas. Thrills guaranteed.
From the ski resort, marked snowshoe trails But ungroomed slopes allow you to immerse yourself in nature. This activity is accessible to everyone. You can also go in search of animal tracks or on a birdwatching excursion with a mountain guide. Marked ski touring routes with elevation gains between 300 and 800 meters offer a different way to experience the mountains.
La Electric snowmobiling is a way to experience thrills on the snow… This activity is a mix of skiing, mountain biking, snowboarding and motorcycling… on a vehicle that is silent, fast and maneuverable… To be practiced with an instructor at the closing of the slopes.
Why not treat yourself to a paragliding flight? The Sauze estate, with its magnificent landscapes, is an ideal location. Whether for a leisurely exploration or a more dynamic experience, anything is possible!
