7 days ; 6 nights in a comfort hotel
This hike is moderately challenging and offers a hiking experience accessible to any physically fit hiker. The hikes are supervised by your qualified local guide, allowing you to adapt to everyone's pace so you can enjoy the scenery and adventure in these beautiful mountains.


Day 1: Your arrival in Seyne les Alpes
You are expected at the Vieux Tilleuil hotel which is located at the exit of the village of Seyne les Alpes.
Check-in will be from 16:00 p.m. on Sundays.
If you arrive by train, meet at GAP station for 17 p.m.
A welcome drink in the presence of your host, Pascale, will take place at 19 p.m.

Day 2: Hike to the Tour de Tête Grosse
The Tête Grosse summit tour is a remarkable introduction to the experience, thanks to the diversity of landscapes encountered along this loop. Gentle and accessible terrain, coniferous forests, endless mountain pastures, and ravines carved by erosion reveal the unique landscapes of the Blanche Valley.
Elevation gain: approximately 600 m
Walking time: 5 hours
Maximum altitude: 1890 m

Day 3: The tour of Tourtourel
We begin by climbing the Blanche ravine with its superb waterfall, before arriving at the Roche Close mountain pasture and its mule hut, a testament to the history of the Seyne region. The tour continues through a variety of settings, including forests, mountain pastures, and eroded ravines.
For the more athletic, the climb continues to the sources of the Blanche at an altitude of 2000 m and even up to the Col la Pierre.

Walking time: 5 hours
Maximum altitude: 1860 m or 2000 m depending on the route chosen on site.

Day 4: The history of the Serre-Ponçon dam
This special day is divided into two short panoramic excursions allowing you to approach the history of the largest earth dam in Europe.
A gradual climb takes us to the heart of varied vegetation to the summit of Clot la Cime. Nothing less than the most beautiful viewpoint overlooking the Serre-Ponçon dam.
In the afternoon, depending on your mood and physical condition, a short climb to Clot du Dou. From there, you can reach the old military batteries of Chatelard and its viewpoints overlooking the entrance to the Ubaye Valley and Lake Serre-Ponçon.
The return is via the irrigation canal with its refreshing atmosphere.

Maximum altitude: 1594 m

Day 5: The Col Bas lakes
The departure is on a forest road overlooking the Blanche valley. Then the passage of the Col Bas reveals superb mountain pastures where several lakes follow one another surrounded by larches and rhododendron moors.
For the more sporty, the summit of Bernadez or Dormillouse are within easy reach.

Maximum altitude: 2130 m

Day 6: the Séolanes pass
For this last hike, the route starts on the famous GR 6 in a wild and little-visited valley: the Laverq valley. The slightly steep climb to the pass offers the sweet reward of a picnic among the edelweiss.
The more athletic among you can discover the high mountain atmosphere of Roche Bénite, the neighboring summit.
The descent off the trail allows you to follow the tracks of the herds of sheep which are so numerous in these lands of transhumance.

Day 7: The end of your trip
This is the end of your stay, dispersal after breakfast.
