A natural and cultural gem in Haute-Provence
Created in 1997, the Verdon Regional Natural Park covers more than 180 hectares, protecting and enhancing a unique territory stretching from Saint-André-les-Alpes to Vinon-sur-Verdon. Straddling the Alpes de Haute Provence and the Var, it offers a landscape of contrasts between plateaus, dizzying gorges, majestic lakes, and winding rivers.
Its role is to preserve biodiversity, encourage sustainable economic development and enhance natural and cultural heritage.
